There's plenty of talk going on about the current Eisner Award nominees, some of which can be found at The Comics Alternative. Do the Eisner Awards seem to have more in common with the Oscars or the Cannes Film Festival? Do they focus too much on critical or commercial success? Are they diverse enough?
